Most girls find themselves ‘caught up in the moment’ long after the big question has been popped. And eventually they have to ask themselves: “what next?!” Real Simple has the answer.
I realize 2009 is coming to a close soon, but it doesn’t mean that this guide is by any means out-of-date. The Real Simple Weddings (2009 Edition) is something I just happened to pick up at the drug mart on my way home from work one day. This was the moment I thought: “I really want to get serious about this wedding career thing”. And what better way to start than with purchasing a copy of my own wedding guide? Even though it is aimed at blushing brides-to-be, it’s a comprehensive book for anyone interested in the entire wedding planning process. With the simple, clean style that can be expected of the Real Simple brand, you are introduced to 3 main sections: Your Plan, Your Ceremony and Your Reception, and all the fun little details that each entails. Trust me, they get detailed! And you wouldn’t want anything less, especially if you are one of the lucky people involved in the actual planning.
For now I get to just sit back and consider this read a ‘part of my education’, but who knows… maybe one day I’ll put it to good use on a firsthand basis. I highly suggest that if you feel even slightly overwhelmed with planning any portion of this important event, go out and get yourself a copy, stat!
