The Angry Weather

I’ve been diving into Etsy more lately, making myself familiar and trying to be “in the know”. The great thing about Etsy is that they frequently update their features and news to keep things interesting. And the team has an eye for great sellers and shops, like Iveth from The Angry Weather Jewelery who was a recent Etsy Featured Seller. I immediately fell for her work – simple and cute metal work made in Montreal, inspired by… what else? The weather. And of course other little trinkets.

Check out her Etsy interview here.

Links of London Love Collection

Links of London has always brought eclectic charms, bracelets and cufflinks in sterling silver and 18k gold since they first started in 1990. Their fine jewelery is classic, but also modern enough to pair with a casual outfit. Their charms especially are easy to match, and come in so many designs :) The heart-sheaped charms alone range from a plump round one, to my favourite thumbprint one, to the sapphire-embellished Lovestruck one.

Links of London

For Valentine’s day, Links of London has a limited edition, Love Collection, by their creative director, Elizabeth Galton. Each piece is exquisite and would make a great gift for a lovely lady.

Sea Unicorn

The jewelery from the Sea Unicorn shop is absolutely dreamy. The soft, romantic photography first caught my eye, but it was the petite collection of lockets, bows, trinkets and whimsical creatures that kept me smiling.

Wax Seal Pendants

These vintage style monogrammed pendants would be a fine touch to your outfit for any special occasion. They come in a variety of colours at various degrees of application. You can request that your pendant be sanded more or less to give it a certain appearance. Some are soft and rustic, while others are sharper and more round. It’s your choice! Each acquires unique characteristics from the special hand-stamped process. So precious!

Twigs and Heather

I love stumble-upons! Today I somehow found myself at the website for Twigs and Heather, a pair of twin sisters named Heather and Kerry Alice Collins who produce handcrafted sterling silver jewelery inspired by nature. Their work is self-described as “part rock star, part silly romantic”. Each piece uses the lost wax casting method with ‘a few tricks of their own’. You can visit their page to admire all the beauty and perhaps even purchase an item or two to complete your forest-inspired look.

Vintage Tiered Jewellery Stands

Wendy and Andrea Ho are the sisters and team behind W.Ho Made It. They recycle antique plates and cups, and make them into wonderful jewellery stands. Each one is unique, and is matched appropriately. I love that these remind me of high tea, and are perfectly practical for storing everyday jewellery. A great gift idea for your bridesmaids ;)
