This beautiful cosmetic set with five pieces of laced bottles, was designed by Erin Dameron for Anthropologie’s Penelope line. The bottles look vintage and feel perfectly romantic…

I can see so many items inspired by this look: clay vases as centrepieces, the beautiful pattern on the side of a bottle of sparkling water, that lovely die-cut pattern from the box incorporated into the invitations…sigh, this is one of those things I would buy just for the packaging :P

Nice Package

Wedding favours don’t have to look cheap just because they are inexpensive. Sometimes overdoing it with mesh and ribbon and whatever you found at the dollar store, might not be very impressive. Nice Package has some great things for simple DIY ideas.

With some fabric, string, paper and lots of love, you can create some elegant solutions to decoration and wedding favours. I especially like the printed ribbon on the little bags because it leaves a surface for you to write your names or a ‘thank you’.

Wedding Cans

This wedding stationary set is designed by Chris Trivizas from Greece, who packaged the invitations inside tin cans. It is a custom to attach the cans to the back of a car after the couple is married, so he includes string and an infographic explaining how to tie the cans to the car.

I like how he incorporates a real can, so it is tactile and can be used for the traditional purpose too. I’d love to find more original wedding ideas in the form of packaging!
